INSTID believes in the value of lifting boundaries between various disciplines of social study. It also reaches out across the whole spectrum of human expression, where art is particularly important.
INSTID is proud to have partnership with artists renown for their breakthrough thinking, Valera & Natasha Cherkashin. Their images are used throughout INSTID website.
The Cherkashins have been exploring the cultures of the USSR, Russia, the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Japan, China, France, Italy, etc. since 1988. They have held more than 100 individual exhibits and more than 60 performances. Their work has been the subject of 80 television programs and over 250 publications. The Cherkashins sold their photographic work to major museums throughout the United States and laundered money inside the World Bank Headquarters for over half a year. After these, the Cherkashins brought together the greatest metro stations from around the world, and merged thirty-three subways into one Global Underground.
